Narrow Vein Stoping

The narrow vein stoping technique pioneered by Andes Colorado provides a safe working platform, high productivity, lower dilution than many other narrow vein methods and lower costs.

INNOVATIONS IN ENGINEERING FOR SAFER, MORE PRODUCTIVE MECHANIZED MINING

Andes Colorado has great depth of experience in underground production mining. Areas of expertise and pioneering technology include long hole narrow vein mining and long hole mining with cemented rock fill. Underhand mining of long hole stopes in both wide benches (+2-m wide) and narrow benches (0.8-m wide) are techniques successfully developed by Andes Colorado and used daily in mining operations. The mechanized methods provide a high degree of safety and productivity with much lower costs than conventional vein mining.

MINING. DONE RIGHT.

Underhand Long Hole Mining

Underhand Long Hole Stoping with Cemented Rock Fill is a technique that has been imagined and implemented by Andes Colorado. The method offers flexibility in stope block scheduling and in managing grade flow to the process plant.
